Albero delle Rose

Albero delle rose is primarily an e-commerce site dealing with herbal products, and in the second place a source of information and cultural growth for the customer in the fields of phytotherapy and phytocosmetics. Since my research work on a thesis dealing with the phytoextraction of active substances, carried out in the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Pisa, and an internship at the Institute of Pharmacodiagnosis and Phytochemistry at the University of Lausanne, my passion for everything to do with medicinal plants has never left me.

Over what is now fifteen years of activity as a pharmacist in various pharmacies in Tuscany, I became increasingly aware of the therapeutic efficacy of products of vegetable origin. I consider them to be a valid supplement to traditional medicinal products in the prevention, control and treatment of numerous pathologies, especially chronic illnesses, also in view of the low incidence of collateral and toxic effects.

This is where the idea for the Albero delle Rose herbalist came from. The name derives from the Greek etymology of a plant that I am particularly fond of, the rhododendron (rhodos, "rose", and dendron, "tree"), not only on account of the beauty of its flowers but because of the incredible variety of species of the genus, due to its capacity to adapt to extremely different environments.

The objective of this website is to address an extremely varied target of clientele, in a simple but professional manner, offering information on health care and guidance on the choice of the remedies best suited to each individual, his or her body and the pathology in question.

I have chosen to place my trust in a manufacturing company in the very top rank in the herbal field, having had the opportunity to appreciate the seriousness and validity of their products over the course of my experience as a pharmacist.
